On the Use of Defence Forces of Georgia
1. On the basis of Decree No 1 of 21 March of 2020 of the President of Georgia on Measures to be Implemented in connection with the Declaration of a State of Emergency throughout the Whole Territory of Georgia, and in order to effectively enforce the measures provided for by Ordinance No 234 of 10 April 2020 of the Government of Georgia on Quarantine measures to be implemented in order to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus in the municipality of Lentekhi and to reduce any possible threat to the life and health of the country’s population and ensure normalisation of the situation and public security, Defence Forces of Georgia shall be used on the basis of Article 72(2) of the Constitution of Georgia and Article 2(2) of the Law of Georgia on a State of Emergency.
2. This Order shall enter into force from 10 April 2020.
